ARTIST BIO
When Peter Ceccon first encountered Jackson Pollock's The Tea Cup in 1990, the painting itself was a symbol of artistic awakening. As Ceccon began to explore his own creative landscape, he found that painting was the perfect medium to help express his thoughts and emotions. He taught himself through reading, visiting museums and galleries, and later, through formal education at the Art Students League in New York City. This combination of self-education and formal training enabled Peter to debut his own work at the Piermont FlyWheel Gallery in New York.
Today, Peter lives in New Jersey and continues to express his creative vision through abstract painting, mixed media collage, photography, and more recently, digital mediums such as video, sound, and NFT creation. As he continues to explore the boundaries of his creative abilities, he creates art that speaks to his unique vision and inner self.
